Under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) is implementing Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to certify and upskill workers already engaged in rural water supply and sanitation activities. The initiative formally recognizes existing skills of plumbers, pump operators, and technicians, enhances service quality, and strengthens local capacity for sustainable implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission across Assam.
