Getting ready_Checklist including Eligibility Criteria

  • Detailed Project Report be prepared and duly countersigned by concerned line department/ Implementing Agency (Detailed Project Report should be prepared in conformity with the model Plan/ Estimate prepared by EGM, Assam where applicable).

The following documents are to be attached to the project proposal:

  • Attested photo copy of Registration Certificate of the Implementing Agency.
  • In principle approval from Bank regarding the activity and beneficiaries involved.
  • Beneficiaries list showing the name of the beneficiary, father’s/husband’s name, address in full mentioning Village, Post Office, Police Station, Block/ward, Constituency, Pin No. and District, Age (preferably 18 – 40 yrs.), Qualification and recent passport size photograph.
  • Land document wherever applicable.
  • Experience Certificate of the beneficiaries in the chosen activities and competence of the concerned NGO/Society/SHG to run the project from District authority.
  • Audited balance sheet for last three years of the Implementing Agency.
  • Undertaking from beneficiaries stating non availing of any other Govt. subsidy.
  • Financial break up: (i) 60 % Bank Linkage (ii) 10% Own Contribution (iii) 30 % Mission Subsidy.

Form(s) to be filled

IN PRINCIPLE APPROVAL BY BANK FOR FINANCING PRODUCTIVE SCHEME UNDER EGM, ASSAM

Guidelines for filling up the form

  • The form needs to be filled up by the Branch Manager of the concerned Bank.
  • Name of the implementing agency and proposal, total project cost, targeted beneficiaries, full Bank Branch details, contact no should be stated clearly and duly sealed and signed by the Branch Manager.
  • The Branch Manager prior to submission of the form shall verify the following:
  1. The activity is economically viable and technically feasible.
  2. The beneficiaries are not defaulters.
  3. The beneficiaries are not availing any Govt. subsidy at the time of submission of proposal.
  4. Land documents verified, wherever necessary.

Eligibility criteria

  • Unemployed including BPL category persons (preferably 18 – 40 yrs).

Fees including the Payment Mode

  • There is no fee for applying.

Important Timelines

Due date for submission :

  • Advertisement for acceptance of proposal shall appear in the website from time to time.

Time for processing (approximate) :

  • Bank Loan will be processed as per RBI regulations.
  • Approval is obtained from the concerned committee in its meeting as and when held.

  • Make sure that you are eligible for applying (Review the eligibility checklist)
  • Applicant has to fulfil the all eligibility criteria, like documents required, registration, etc.
  • Complete the form to be filled
  • Ensure that you attach the relevant documents

The Applicant need not pay any fee for submission of proposal.
